Geoff and I became friends when we were about 14 years old. We cultivated our friendship through the years.

After 10 years of being "Just Friends" we took a huge leap of faith and started dating.(February 18, 2006)
While we were dating, Geoff was finishing his last year at the University of Arizona in Tucson. We made a deal that we wouldn't go more then 2 weeks without seeing one another. I felt like I was always on a plane (I must have been in love, I am terrified of planes!!!) We have so many great memories in Arizona from Toga parties to cooking dinners in the mountains.
In November 2006, Geoff had a lot on his mind with his Mom back home ill and her passing on November 16. A week or two before graduation. He showed his true self and handled it with grace and dignity. I was so proud of him and thankful for him to be coming back to California. We survived the long distance test and as the quote says "distance makes the heart grow fonder." we proved it to be true.
