Christmas 2012 Wrap Up

This Christmas season has been MAGICAL! There is nothing like having little kids to make the holiday season shine!  I loved everything about this holiday season and feel so blessed to have our entire (well majority) family so close.  We decorated my parents house with Cash, Decorated and ate Ginger bread men, Picked out Cash's Room Tree, Went to Irvine Park to see Santa with cousin Lily and Santa visited us on Christmas Eve.  We held our annual Christmas morning breakfast and had the entire family over.

Shannon's Baby Shower

My Mom and I threw my sister in law, Shannon a  baby shower a few weeks ago.  She lives up in Ventura so we literally filled my Mom's Expedition to the brim with Shower decorations and took over Shannon's house for the weekend.  We had so much fun thinking of ideas and making little decorations for Shannon.  It turned out more beautiful than I could have imagined.  We love Shannon so much and look forward to the arrival of our newest niece!

Sargent Family Pictures

The Sargent/McCain/Farver Families got together for our yearly family photos.  It's getting a bit hard to get great pictures with little ones and a dog (Lucy) and trying to get everyone to "SMILE" I think we need to hire someone next year but for the time being, Uncle Bob did a great job with all the chaos going on.

We decided on a theme for Jameson's room, Chicago Bears Football.  We did Los Angeles Angels Baseball for Cash's so we thought it would be cute to have baseball/football rooms for our boys.

Cash's First Trip to Disneyland

We woke up Saturday morning and Geoff asked me, "what do you want to do today?" and my first response was, "Go to Disneyland!!!".  He laughed and asked if I was serious, which I was so we went.  We decided Cash was probably old enough to enjoy most of what Disneyland has to offer and with another baby coming in 2 months, we better take him now.  He loved "Mickey Mouses Fun House" as Cash calls Disneyland.  We saw Goofy the second we walked into the park and Cash fell in love and jumped up and down.  We took him on the traditional kid rides in Toon Town but also did some of the big kid rides like Pirate of the Caribbean which he loved.  I can't wait to take him back.

Halloween Events

Cash and Lily went trick or treating together this year.  Cash was a pirate and she was a adorable zebra.  This was the first year for Lily and the first year Cash understood that he would get "treats" from people.  He loves candy and to say he was excited to go trick or treating is an understatement.  Geoff and I cooked dinner and had the family (Grandparents, Aunties, Uncle etc over) the kids trick or treated and the Adults sipped on yummy drinks ;)

 



 

My brother in law, Kory works as a OC Park Ranger so we went to Irvine Park with the kids all dressed up and picked out a few pumpkins.  Cash was a pirate on Halloween but he decided he wanted to be a dragon for this adventure.  We love his imagination.
