At Cash's 12 month doctors appointment his Dr. said by 18 months he would be able to understand 90% of what we were telling him. Then by 21 months he should be able to communicate to where we would understand him. Looking back I was very skeptic. Tomorrow Cash will be 21 months (SOOOOO sad it's gone by so quickly) and everything she has told us has been 100% true. Here are a few of the words Cash uses:

Cash wakes up each morning saying either Tractor, Milk or Juice. He goes to bed each night after prayer saying Amen. It's incredible the words he picks up and the understanding he has of each word. I love to watch him put words together to tell me something. The other day he says "Momma, Outside, No, Sun, No, Pool, No" He was telling me that he couldn't go outside in the pool because the sun wasn't out. I was blown away.
