Baby Lily McCain
My niece Lily Linda McCain was born May 4, 2012 at 8:25 am 7lbs. 7oz. I am so impatient, unlike her Momma, Amanda who was so patient for her arrival even when she had gone 4 days past her due date. We had been receiving updates from my father in law all night as Amanda had gone into labor, I could hardly sleep. I woke up around 5:00 am. Geoff and I dropped Cash off at my parent's, headed to Bagels and Brew to get food for the whole family and then headed to HOAG hospital. When we arrived Amanda told me I could stay in the room for delivery, I was so ecstatic to be be there for Lily's birth and such an intimate part of her life she was sharing with me. I was in charge of the mass text message updates for the family that was in the waiting room.
The convo is totally note worthy so I will paste the (lengthy) text message as I want Amanda to remember how excited we all were to meet Lily:
