OC Fair

We took Cash to the Orange County Fair Sunday. Ryan & Kristie McKesson joined us and we all had a great time. Cash loved all the animals especially the cow who's tail kept hitting him in the face. We ate tons of fried food, which Cash begged like a dog for :)

Cash is Walking

Cash started walking today!!! He will be 9 months tomorrow. He is really unstable but it's so cute to watch him wobble around.

Cash Feeding Himself

Cash has learned to feed himself cheerios. He now loves to sit in his high chair eating his cheerios and watching his favorite show Yo Gabba Gabba.

Samantha's Birthday

My little Cousin Samantha just turned 9. Every year all she wants for her birthday is to go fishing. Yesterday, Geoff & I took her to out on our lake. (Mission Viejo Lake) We weren't there for more than 5 mins and she caught a fish. Her daily total was 3 Large Mouth Bass. She was so excited!

Summer Monsoon

Yesterday Cash & I went out and played in the rain. It was like 97 degrees and pouring. He loved the rain.

Nick & Lisa's Engagement Party

Nick & Lisa's Engagement Party was on Saturday. Warren, Nick's Dad hosted the party at his home, everything was amazing! We had a blast and cannot wait for them to get married in March.

Rocky Mountain Oysters

My boss told me I had to try Rocky Mountain Oysters while I was in Colorado. I found out they were cow balls, sick! We ordered them while at a steak house and Bodell & I thought they were disgusting the boys on the other hand loved them. Cheers to balls....

Fourth of July

Happy Anniversary to my parents!!!

We spent the Fourth of July with my Brother and his family, My Aunt Jeni, Uncle Mike, My other Uncle Mike & Aunt Robyn and their family. It was so much fun to celebrate the Fourth with them. We bought fire works and had a BBQ. The weather was crazy. It was hot and then all of a sudden started hailing and then pouring rain. We didn't let a little (or a lot) of rain ruin our fun we all went outside and lit off fireworks. I was shocked the babies slept through all the noise. Some people had the good fireworks and they were loud!

Coors Factory/Beau Joes

We went to Golden Colorado to the Coors Factory. They have a free tour and I have to say it's amazing! They give out free samples of the beer they make, being a HUGE Coors Light fan, that's all I drank. All the restaurants around sold Coors Original/Coors Light for .25 Cents. I was in Heaven!!!

After the factory tour we headed up to Idaho Springs to eat at Beau Joes. Geoff watches Man vs. Food. and Adam Richman did a show about the mountain pie. Geoff being the food lover he is was anxious to try this pie. I have to say the thing is massive. All 4 of us could not finish a pie. It is so thick and the crust is incredible, they serve honey so you can dip your crust in it, talk about a fat kid maneuver.

Cousin Love

Cash and Presley are 22 days apart in age. We were so excited to see how they would react to one another. They were absolutely adorable and loved each other. We took the kids to the Denver Art musuem to see the King Tut exhibit (they didn't allow cameras so we couldn't get any photos of them) After we had lunch in Downtown Denver at the cutest Irish pub. The kids had a busy busy day and passed out after.

Going to Colorado

We took Cash on his first trip to Colorado to visit my Brother, Chris and his beautiful family (Bodell & my niece, Presley) We left on July 1 and scheduled flights around Cash's naptime, which seemed to work out nicely. Cash loved the airplane, he fell right asleep but then woke when I had to use the ladies room (apparently too many screwdrivers before the flight hehe)
